Ubuntu 22.04: instale Docker

En este tutorial, le mostraré un script para instalar Docker y Docker Compose en Ubuntu 22.04.

Hoy en día, cada vez hay más aplicaciones disponibles en contenedores con Docker, regularmente tengo que instalar una nueva máquina en Ubuntu e instalar Docker y Docker Compose.

Personalmente prefiero instalar Docker desde los repositorios oficiales antes que lo que ofrece Ubuntu para tener una versión más reciente.

Al principio, iba al sitio de Docker cada vez y copiaba y pegaba líneas de código en el sitio, lo cual es bastante tedioso.

Instale Docker y Docker Compose con un script

Para ahorrar tiempo, me decidí por un script bash que se hace cargo de los comandos y aquí está:

Para usar el script, copie su contenido a un archivo en su servidor con la extensión .sh y luego ejecute el

sudo sh script-file-name.sh

El script también funciona con Ubuntu 20.04.

Verifique que Docker esté instalado

Para comprobar que la instalación está funcionando correctamente puedes ingresar estos comandos para tener las versiones de los componentes de Docker.

docker --version

Para Docker componer

docker compose version

  -H, --host list          Daemon socket to connect to
  -l, --log-level string   Set the logging level ("debug", "info", "warn", "error", "fatal") (default "info")
      --tls                Use TLS; implied by --tlsverify
      --tlscacert string   Trust certs signed only by this CA (default "/home/ubuntu/.docker/ca.pem")
      --tlscert string     Path to TLS certificate file (default "/home/ubuntu/.docker/cert.pem")
      --tlskey string      Path to TLS key file (default "/home/ubuntu/.docker/key.pem")
      --tlsverify          Use TLS and verify the remote

Docker compose

      --parallel int               Control max parallelism, -1 for unlimited (default -1)
      --profile stringArray        Specify a profile to enable

Pruebe Docker ejecutando una imagen

Para probar que Docker funciona correctamente, puede ejecutar la imagen hello-world

sudo docker run hello-world

La imagen debería devolver algo como esto:
